The female has been placed in a smaller "spitting" aquarium, where she can have peace while the fry grow in her mouth and where the fry are not eaten as soon as they are released.
I bought this aquarium used in August 2001 together with two identical ones. All three were part of the first version of my small aquarium rack.
Usage
The aquarium was generally used as a grow-out and/or "spitting" aquarium. One of the first to try the conditions was my first, original Golden female, who was the mother of my subsequent breeding group. After my Golden had released the fry, the aquarium has also been used for growing out Multies, Platies and Guppies.
Status
Now this aquarium has also been replaced by my 100 liter and was therefore sold in September 2004.
