Among some of the new cichlids I tried keeping, is this sajica with blue eyes and black bars.
Origin and name
The sajica comes from the rivers and springs of south- and central America. Since I created this article, the sajica has been reclassified, first to the species Cryptoheros and afterwards to the species Amatitlania. Furthermore it has also been suggested to move it to the species Hypsophrys. Luckily, sajica hasn't been changed, so us who are merely regular Aquarists can still find it using "sajica".
