I bought this aquarium used in March 2002 along with an identical one and a 153l one. All three were part of the second version of my small aquarium rack.
Technical Equipment
The aquarium is filtered by a black foam sponge of 40x40x5cm with an air-driven pump tube placed along one end wall. It is heated by a 50W Via Aqua glass heater. The lighting is half of an 18W fluorescent tube mounted above, as well as a single 5W energy-saving bulb that provides a twilight-like light before and after the main light is turned on. The light is controlled by two weekly timers.
Interior and plants
The interior is very sparse; there is a large driftwood root and a couple of coconut caves and no substrate. Regarding plants, I primarily used floating plants in the aquarium, as well as a few Anubias nana.
Usage
The aquarium has primarily been used as a grow-out tank.
Status
The aquarium was sold along with my small aquarium rack.
