I have bought 3 silicone-glued aquariums for breeding purposes, as they are slightly easier to clean when they don't have edges like standard aluminum aquariums or those with plastic rims.
Equipment
As a filter I have a small air-driven internal filter and the aquarium is heated by a 25W heater. The lighting is a homemade fixture with two 8W mini fluorescent tubes from Harald Nyborg mounted above - a design that is quite clumsy. The light is controlled by the same weekly timer that controls my other aquariums.
Interior
The aquarium has no substrate and the only "decoration" is a micro wood root.
Planting
At the moment, I have the floating plant Hornwort and a single broad-leaved anubias in the aquarium.
Usage
I use the aquarium for various breeding attempts and temporary experiments. I do not have this aquarium in permanent operation, only when I am in the process of breeding attempts or when I lack space. At the moment, it is not in use.
